Agent Spotlight: Meet Hannah Armstrong

If you have a negative impression of real estate agents, it’s clear you have never met Hannah Armstrong. Hannah is a Buyer and Listing Specialist with The Legacy Group in Spokane, Washington, helping real estate clients in Spokane and North Idaho

To Hannah, being a real estate agent is more of a calling than a career. Hannah decided early in high school that her future lay in real estate. She obtained her license at the age of 21 and has been in the business ever since. She joined The Legacy Group in 2020, drawn by its work ethic and high standards:

Low service is just not an option to us, and we believe and act on that wholeheartedly.

At the same time, she emphasizes that the environment at Legacy is collegial and positive. The staff at The Legacy Group believe in working hard, but that work time is always balanced out by team outings to recharge and regroup.

She knows how important it is for her buying clients to find the right home and how anxious her selling clients can be about making a sale and getting the right price. She genuinely cares, recognizing that her role in helping someone to buy or sell a home is “part of someone’s life and story,” and she considers it a blessing to share in those stories.

While Hannah loves her job and her clients, she is not afraid to be blunt when the situation calls for it:

I strongly believe that my job is to assist people in making smart decisions. I always give them the truth and facts they may need to make an intelligent decision. People should be able to trust their agents to have the knowledge needed throughout the process and to be transparent about the good AND the ugly.

Hannah knows that her reputation and clients’ welfare depend on not sugar-coating a deal to earn a commission. Her clients count on her to help them make one of the most important and financially consequential decisions. If her clients aren’t happy with their transactions long into the future, she knows she is not doing her job.

Hannah knows that real estate can seem like a cut-throat business, which is why she prefers the atmosphere at The Legacy Group. They are like a second family to her. The prevailing attitude at The Legacy Group is that “a rising tide lifts all boats.” That is why they make decisions as a team, mentor one another, and support each other to ensure clients get the best service. By helping each other succeed, they all succeed.

Hannah acknowledges that real estate is a 24/7/365 business: you must be on call for your clients, ready to help them on their schedule. This often means working after normal business hours and on weekends and holidays. Under the circumstances, it can be hard to “have a life” outside of work, but that does not dampen her enthusiasm for real estate.

Although her personal life and work life are intertwined, she knows that striking the right balance is crucial. To maintain her positive attitude, she makes the most of the time she spends with her clients while still taking time off and spending the odd weekend away with her husband and two dogs or enjoying a gathering with friends. When she does take time off, she can truly relax, knowing that her colleagues at The Legacy Group will ensure her clients are well taken care of.

If you are interested in purchasing or selling a house in the Spokane or Coeur d’Alene areas, reach out to Hannah Armstrong at The Legacy Group. The right agent can make all the difference in the world.
