Properties for Sale | Idaho

North Idaho, also called the Idaho Panhandle, is the narrow northern region of the state, bordered by Washington to the west, Montana to the east and British Columbia to the north. Its eastern edge follows the Bitterroot Range. Together with Eastern Washington, it forms the Inland Northwest.

Coeur d’Alene is the largest city in the Panhandle, about 30 miles east of Spokane. Other cities include Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Sandpoint and Priest River. The region’s large lakes include Lake Coeur d’Alene, Lake Pend Oreille and Priest Lake.

Interstate 90 crosses the Panhandle, and Spokane International Airport is the region’s main airport.
